Lynda Alexander has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. After experiencing a major traumatic event in 2022, she embarked on a healing journey, studying Yoga in Ubud, Bali graduating as a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher. Lynda was drawn to the Vinyasa & YIN Styles of Yoga. The mission statement of Evolution is: true self-transformation & success start within our true belief systems. Lynda teaches that through Yoga Practice, you’ll learn how to allow yourselve to slow down the chatter, create more self- acceptance and self-compassion. A strong body and mind are the ultimate gifts we can offer ourselves.
Evolution Yoga practices & teaches two disciplines, Vinyasa Flow & YIN yogbasa. Lynda conducts classes as well as offering personal one-one-one sessions. Classes are held at times to suit just about everyone, at The Lodge in Mittagong. This beautiful space backs onto bushland at Mount Alexander and is the perfect setting for our classes. All classes have a maximum of eight (8) students per class, ensuring an targeted and intimate practice.Private sessions can also be at your place. Contact Lynda to discuss what will work best.

Lynda has been my yogi for some months now and I have greatly appreciated her attention to developing our own yoga practice and safely navigating our various physical limitations.
As someone in their 50s and having had a heart attack ,I knew I had the up my activity . I discovered Lynda’s yoga classes and have to say I love them. I do minimum three classes a week- locations great a Lodge on the edge of bush and the classes are kept interesting, never boring , great music - environment,her transitions unique and fun, adds to lots of versatility and a healthier me!
My strength and flexibility practice has come along way since joining Lynda’s flow classes. I love both the energy and relaxation flow provides me. Lynda’s classes are well balanced and she has a great playlist!
Lynda’s passion for yoga is clearly evident in each class that she leads. The classes are beautifully structured with variations to cover beginners to advanced yogi’s. The instruction is gentle and guiding. The studio atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. I look very much forward to each class and I am thankful to Lynda for being instrumental in developing my love of yoga. It’s a journey to enjoy!
Vinyassa Yoga (also known as flow yoga) is a dynamic style of yoga. The movements are linked with the breath like in Ashtanga yoga, Vinyasa yoga has no set sequence of poses. This allows Vinyassa Yoga to be much more free and creative in its nature
Vin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga (as excersice) incorporating principals of traditional CHinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other yoga styles.
